Angel Maltese Story
On my 12th birthday, my dream came true with a little girl called Tasha, which was a wonderful pet. She taught me the qualities, love, and compassion for a Maltese that these special angels are innate with. Later while at a dog show, I became enamored with a special little girl shown by Glynette Cass, named Dina. As my precious son’s name is Dino, I thought this was a special message from my guardian angel that this was my beginning. Being a novice, I had much to learn, but I have such a hunger and drive for perfection I knew someday I’d be “there.” “THERE” would be the road to Westminster.
Enter stage right: Joyce Watkins and Ch. Marcris Risque’ Business. The sprinkling of “Angel Dust” from Risque’ made the difference in what I was to achieve, and I will be eternally grateful for this gift.
Ch. Angels Risque’ Takit To The Limit (Rembrandt) featured on the opening page is another example of “Proof is in the progeny.”
There have been others that have encouraged, supported and shared their lines with me. There are no words to express my appreciation.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Dr. Jaffee of Jaffee’s Animal Hospital in Palm Beach Gardens for the all niters. Dr. Jaffee played a huge part in the deliveries of these special angels. Thank you for ALWAYS being there.
I would also like to offer a special thank you to Frankie, Mark and Rosario for your support love and GREAT ads. Together I believe we can continue to keep the Angels shining at their best.
I once recited the saying that no man is an island or in our home, no dog is an island. This is especially true in the breeding of show quality dogs. So I am grateful for each and every one of you that have been there.
For the past two years, I have received the honor of top breeder of the year by the American Maltese Association. This is one I am very proud of, but it could not have been possible without the help of many. I am extremely thankful for each and every one of you.
